OUR MISSION
"Here at Becoming by Brooklyn, we are driven by a single goal: to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Becoming by Brooklyn is a non-profit organization dedicated to easing the transition from foster care to forever for foster-to-adopt families. We inform, engage, and mobilize new audiences to take action and raise funds that support the development of spaces designed to give foster-to-adopt families the environment they need to connect, heal, and flourish."
OUR WORK
Dealing with the challenges of easing the transition for foster-to-adopt families requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Becoming by Brooklyn emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the foster care community and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
